For added security, Edimax IP Cameras are recommended to utilize firmware version v3.x or later. However, due to architectural limitations, EdiView II does not support this function. Users are encouraged to download the Edimax EdiLife app for enhanced capabilities. Note that EdiView II does not permit firmware updates to version v3.x or later.
